Born and raised in Salem, VA, David Taylor has served the Presbyterian Church of Floyd since July 20th of 2003. He’s happily married to his wife, Ginger, who is a sister to the wife of one of David’s closest high school friends.

He attended King College (Bristol, TN), Columbia Theological Seminary (Decatur, GA) and Princeton Theological Seminary (Princeton, NJ) before going into full-time ministry.

He has spent time studying in Scotland, Switzerland, Egypt, and Israel, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in “Evangelism and Mission” at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Austin, Texas.

David brings musical talents to his ministry as well, regularly joining church members with his violin, guitar, and drums.

In his spare time, he enjoys motorcycling, exercise, kung-fu, and doing anything outdoors.
